Well, there’s no doubt that Carcillo got the better of Thornton in this fight. However, this fight has more of a historical value than anything.

This is the first fight that the Winter Classic has ever seen. If there’s anything that we should learn from that fight, it’s the respect that the announcers were talking about. Both of these guys had an obvious respect for the others talent.

Even though both wanted to win the fight, they only wanted to show that they were better than the other. They weren’t trying to hurt each other, only show dominance. If you’re going to fight, then that’s how you fight.

However, the fans loved it, and you can tell in the video that the players loved it as well.
